ECRN News: Supporting Bilingualism Research at ISBPAC 2024, Swansea University
The Researcher Development team were pleased to support the 5th International Symposium on Bilingual and L2 Processing in Adults and Children (ISBPAC) held at Swansea University from 23rd – 24th May 2024.
The event, organised by Dr Vivienne Rogers, brought together researchers from 12 countries interested in linguistic acquisition and processing, and the role of bi/multilingualism in (neuro)cognition.
Hosting the Symposium at Swansea University was an excellent opportunity to showcase the important role of Swansea University and other Welsh institutions in contributing to bilingualism research on an international scale.
The two-day Symposium included four plenary sessions, two workshops, fourteen research talks and 52 research poster presentations!

We were pleased to support researchers working in the field of bilingualism research by offering travel bursaries for ECR Network members attending the Symposium and sponsoring the prizes for the poster competition.
