‘Alt-Ac Careers’, will explore how academics can take their skills and research outside academia and use them to develop productive research-based careers in industry or the private and public sectors.

Access to Medicines: The Impact of Social Inequalities

The roundtable discussed issues about access to medicines under the framework of the international human rights law, addressing the tensions that may arise where public and private interests intersect from an interdisciplinary point of view.
Co-organised with members of the Early Career Research Network and with support from the Society’s Fellows, this recording is relevant for researchers across academic disciplines such as law, human rights, global health, medicine, and international politics and working at different institutions such as the NHS and the Senedd.
