On Friday 30 September, the Society launched the call for nominations for the inaugural Dillwyn Medals for early career researchers. Speakers at the event included President of the Society. Sir Emyr Jones Parry, the Chief Scientific Adviser for Wales, Professor Julie Williams, Mr Mark Bentall of Airbus CTO, and Dr Kirsti Bohata, Director of CREW, Swansea University, one of the leading experts on the Dillwyn dynasty.
