It is with much regret that we report the death of the Society’s inaugural President, Professor John Cadogan, CBE DSC FRSE FRSC MAE FLSW FRS on 9th February 2020.

Professor John Tucker, inaugural General Secretary of the Society, delivered the following eulogy for Sir John at his recent funeral:
