Can you explain your research to the public in less than three minutes? Can you do that with just ONE slide? Try it in our Three Minute Research competition.
The competition is organised by the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol and the Early Career Researchers Network of the Learned Society of Wales, and will be held at the National Eisteddfod on Thursday, 7 August at 3pm on the Coleg Cymraeg stand.
The event is open to any early-career researcher who has completed, or is currently working on, a project or thesis. Presentations should be limited to one PowerPoint slide, and speakers are invited to be creative with how they display information on this slide, e.g. use images or diagrams, rather than text.
The LSW ECR Network can reimburse the cost of the entrance ticket for participating speakers. We are also delighted to be sponsoring the prize of £50 for this event. The judging panel will be interdisciplinary and include someone from the social sciences, the sciences and the humanities.
