News from Our Fellows: Appointments and Publications

Professor Kamila Hawthorne has been elected as the next Chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
The R. Tudur Jones and Pennar Davies Memorial Lecture (under the auspices of the Union of Welsh Independents) was delivered on 15 June 2022 by Professor E. Wyn James. It was entitled ‘Ieuan Gwynedd: Arwr Cenedl’. A recording (in Welsh) is available here.
Professor Javier Bonet has become General Director of the International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE) in Barcelona.
Professor Charlotte Williams has been made Emeritus Professor at Bangor University.
